ShowCase product and release number,
your operating system, any error
messages encountered and any
information from troubleshooting
logs (see below).
Troubleshooting logs that could
help diagnose problems:
ShowCase Viewing: In ShowCase
5.0 and later there is an option under
the Help menu called "ShowCase Trace
Log". This log may provide information
about errors.
DICOM networking issues: In
the ShowCase Connect software (or
SCP_ShowCase in pre-5.0 software) the
main screen gives access to the network
activity log that shows much of the
DICOM network activity and can help
diagnose problems. Also, your ultrasound
machine or PACS will have network
transfer error logs. See the
manufacturer's documentation.
Minimum Hardware
Recommendations for ShowCase Products
- Pentium IV processor
- 2 GB memory
- 2 GB free disk
space
To store images on the
PC for quick access, a minimum of 3 GB
storage space is recommended.
Monitor and graphics
card should support 24 bit and/or 32 bit
color and support at least
1024x768 resolution.
