Using ShowCase to Access Studies

ShowCase may be able to help you view
your images at home or in satellite
clinics in one of the following ways:
Query / Retrieve Studies over a
Network
Some of our customers have mini-PACS
or PACS
servers that can be queried from a
remote machine. A home or remote office
PC running ShowCase with the Connect
option issues a DICOM Query to the
server and the server transfers studies
over a network connection to the hard
disk of the PC. Images are local, so
even large clips play back at realtime
speed. Export to CD or DVD
with the Onboard Viewer
ShowCase Premier includes integrated
CD/DVD burning. You can check a box to
include the ShowCase Onboard Viewer on
the CD or DVD along with your studies.
Since the viewer on the CD runs on most
Windows PCs, you can take the CD with
you or send it to another location.
ShowCase PORTABLE
Licenses
If you purchase a USB Flash license,
you can install ShowCase on PCs in
multiple locations and carry your
license with you. Whenever the flash
license is inserted, the ShowCase
software runs normally. (It stops
running when the license is removed.) |
